The internship presentation was divided into three core sections. First, Ms. Li systematically introduced the development history, strategic positioning, core business scope, customer base, project processes, quality management advantages, industry status, and global layout of Yaxin Cheng Medical Information Technology Ltd.(Beijing Taya Ltd) During the introduction of the company’s global partners, she designed an interactive session, inviting students to identify the English names of several internationally renowned pharmaceutical companies (such as NOVARTIS, PHILIPS, etc.). The students eagerly raised their hands and actively participated, creating an engaging atmosphere. Students who answered correctly were rewarded with exquisite gifts prepared by Yaxin Cheng. Ms. Li then showcased the company’s team structure and vibrant working environment, providing students with a visual experience of their future work settings. Finally, Ms. Li provided detailed information about the company’s current open internship positions and specific requirements, covering various departments such as the pharmaceutical translation department, medical device translation department, and translation quality department. Ms. Li also clarified the responsibilities, required skills, career development prospects, salary packages for different positions, and the company’s tailor-made “Eagle Program” training course, campus recruitment process, and application methods for interns.

During the Q&A session, students actively inquired about many internship details. In response to the question “In the context of AI technology development, what abilities are most important for interns and for long-term career development?” Ms. Li emphasized that, in addition to a solid foundation in language and professional knowledge, passion for the work is a source of enduring motivation. Strong stress resilience and tenacity are keys to handling challenging projects and tight deadlines. Moreover, it is crucial to have a continuous learning mindset in the era of artificial intelligence, proactively embracing new technologies and knowledge, and continuously “recharging” to enhance one’s core competitiveness to maintain irreplaceability. Regarding the question, “Can the translation content completed during the internship be used for case analysis reports?” Ms. Li responded that translations involving confidential content, such as unpublished pharmaceutical products, cannot be disclosed, but some non-confidential and declassified materials can be used for case analysis.

This presentation provided the MTI graduate students with more internship opportunities. It also clarified many of their concerns regarding career planning and internship practice. Additionally, it offered valuable guidance in helping students closely connect theoretical learning with industry practice. The presentation also helped enhance their professional competitiveness and clarify their future development directions.
