Mr. Ban Rongxue，born in 1952 in Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region PR China, graduated from English Department of Xi’an Foreign Languages Institute (now Xi’an Foreign Studies University), visiting scholar of the University of Nottingham, U.K., is professor of English at Northwest University, Xi’an China, where he has been teaching and supervising postgraduate in translation studies, comparative studies of languages and cultures. He has also been teaching general English for AM and PhD candidates of non-English majors of the university. His publications include 63 academic papers and 21 books. He has fulfilled 3 research items, received 7 rewards.
