Born in 1971 in Xi’an.  A  Member of the Asia TEFL , She is MA supervisor in linguistics and applied linguistics,  and also the director of the College English Teaching Reform Department. She received bachelor’s degree from Northwest University in 1994 and has worked there ever since graduation, a Master's degree in 2003, and now she is a PhD candidate.

She has actively been involved in teaching reform and has been in charge of the teaching reform department ever since 2006. Her major teaching and research areas are: reading, culture, writing , grammar, language testing and learning strategy.

She has published the most research works nationally over 10 academic journals and been in charge of or the major participant of the research projects at national level, provincial level and the university level.
