Professor

Professor Jiao Jianping, born in 1957，has been engaging in the teaching of English language for over 27 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the Foreign Languages Department of Northwest University in 1983, and pursued her postgraduate studies in pedagogy of language teaching and English literature in Northwest University from 1994 to 1997. In 1999, She became an associate professor in the College of Foreign Languages at Northwest University.

Besides her work on teaching career, She remains active in the academic research. She has published nearly 21 articles, six of which have been published in the key Journals collected by CSSCI officially. She has been in charge of and conducted a series of research projects in the fields of Pedagogy of language teaching, English literature, American literature, and translation of western culture, two of which belong to the provincial research projects. She has published a book on writing in collaboration with her colleague.
