Cheng Tian’e’s Resume
Cheng Tian’e, born in September 1973, is currently an associate professor of School of Foreign Languages, Northwest University. After graduating from Xi'an International Studies University in 1997, she began her teaching career at School of Foreign Languages, Northwest University. She has been teaching non-English majors college English up till now. In 2005, she obtained her MA degree in Translation Theory and Practice at Northwest University. In recent years, Cheng Tian’e has published 10 research papers, among which 3 were published in core journals. In addition, she has presided over and been involved in 20 teaching and research projects at all levels. She was also involved in compiling one textbook in 2005. In the academic year 2008 she was awarded the title Outstanding Teacher of Northwest University.
Education Background
Cheng Tian’e worked on her BA program at Xi'an International Studies University from 1993 to 1997 and obtained her BA degree. From 2002 to 2005 she began to pursue her MA degree in Translation Theory and Practice at Northwest University and received the relative certificate.
Working Experience
Up till now she has been teaching non-English majors college English since her graduation in 1997. Druing the years she has been working at Northwest University, she attended the coursebook trainings in Hangzhou in 1999, in Qingdao in 2005 and in Suzhou in 2007 respectively.
