Brief Intro

Mr. Chen Hanliang, Ph. D., is the lecturer of Foreign Languages School, NWU. He’s also the vice general secretary of STA, a member of the SI committee as well as the Center of Snow Studies - Sino-US Culture Studies. He has undertaken SI and CI for hundreds of international conferences. In May 2009, he was appointed as the interpreter to Sir William Geoffrey Ehrman, British Ambassador in China at the time when visiting Xi’an. Mr. Chen has translated millions of words from Chinese to English, and vice versa. He’s mainly engaged in English language teaching and study, translation practice and study. He has undertaken 8 academic research programs and published dozens of academic papers as well as course books and translation publications.
