Profile

Wang Guodong, born in June, 1978, graduated from Xi’an International Studies University in 2000 and came to work in Northwest University as a College English teacher the same year. After earning his MA degree in 2005 and his lecturer’s title in 2006, he started working on his doctoral degree in World History in 2009, with research focus on theories and practice of language teaching and American studies. He has been teaching more than 400 classes per year ever since he worked full time in Northwest University. With fairly good teaching effect, he won the second prize in Teaching Contest for Junior Teachers in 2008. He has, after getting lecturer’s title, published 13 papers in academic journals, including 5 papers in core journals, presided 3 research projects of different levels, and participated in 8 other projects. He also coauthored 6 course books and more than 10 reference books for English Tests and English Skills.
