On the afternoon of September 29, following the completion of the second round of interviews for the comprehensive competition, the “FLTRP·ETIC CUP” National Foreign Language Contest for College Students, themed “Understanding Contemporary China,” successfully concluded its selection rounds at Northwest University. A total of 17 students, including one wildcard entry, qualified for the provincial competition. This selection round featured three language categories: English, Russian, and Japanese. Over the course of three months, from registration to the final competition, the event attracted 428 participants from various majors and grade levels, setting a new record for the number of applicants and reflecting the students’ zest for foreign language learning in our university.
