On October 20, our school celebrated the academic achievements of students guided by our faculty. Yuan Bocheng, a student in the Sino-foreign cooperative program at the School of Information, mentored by instructor Ma Li, won a national second prize in the grand final of the 29th “21st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition. Additionally, Ying Xinyi, an English major, Yuan Chen, a Law major, and Li Shiyu, a Business Administration major—mentored by instructors Zhang Xin, Xuan Jing, and Zhao Danchen—secured first prize at the Shaanxi provincial finals of the 7th SFLEP Cup National College Students’ Intercultural Competence Contest.
The “21st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition and the “SFLEP Cup” National College Students’ Intercultural Competence Contest hold significant influence within the national foreign language community and are designated as Category C competitions by our institution. The competition teams organized by our school have consistently achieved outstanding results over the years. These accomplishments not only reflect the students’ commitment to mastering foreign languages but also demonstrate the effectiveness of our training programs in developing high-quality foreign language talent.
