On October 19, 2023, the School of Foreign Languages at Northwest University held a psychological health education seminar for the 2023 freshman class in the Lecture Hall of the Second Classroom. We were honored to have Mr. Zhang Da as the keynote speaker. Mr. Zhang Da graduated from Beijing Normal University with a major in Applied Psychology and has been engaged in psychological counseling-related work and research for many years. The theme of this seminar was "Understanding Psychological Counseling, Pursuing a Better Self."
Mr. Zhang provided students with a popular science explanation of psychological counseling concepts，gave analysis and enlightenment on some difficulties they encountered. Subsequently, he explained the ways in which psychological counseling can be effective and encouraged students to seek psychological counseling at the campus counseling center when facing relevant situations.
The seminar was so lively and interesting that students benefited greatly, and they expressed their willingness to engage in further psychological counseling during their spare time.
