On September 3, our school held a teacher-student meeting for the 2025 postgraduates of SFL (School of Foreign Languages) in Lecture Hall 2. Master's Supervisors attended the meeting, which was presided over by Dean Cao Ruonan.

First of all, on behalf of the school, Cao Ruonan extended a warm welcome to all 2025 master's students and put forward earnest expectations for them. Subsequently, the attending supervisors introduced themselves to the teachers and students present one by one, combining their research directions.

In the second part, Cao Ruonan gave advice to the students from the aspects of time planning, academic interests and personal growth, emphasizing that they should cherish time during their postgraduate studies, focus on key priorities, and strive to improve their professional capabilities. He Hua, Director of the MTI Research Center, spoke as a representative of the supervisors. She helped the students sort out the key learning points during the professional master's program from three aspects: academic arrangement, academic standards and habit cultivation, and encouraged the students to face challenges from all sides with a positive attitude in their study and life, and complete their learning goals with persistent efforts.

Finally, the postgraduate supervisors had free communication with the students they supervised, learned about the students' basic situation, and arranged the recent study plans and tasks.

To help new students adapt to the new environment more quickly, transition their roles well, and clarify their learning goals, the school has carried out a series of orientation activities including professional education and teacher-student meetings. It is expected that through the diverse and content-rich series of activities, a bridge for teacher-student interaction and communication will be built to help students make academic plans and start their campus life smoothly.
