The novel 《Fei Du》by Jia Pingwa which has caused wide public concern, now translated by our school’s vice president Hu Zongfeng teaching and foreign language teacher, a British scholar,Dr Robin. 《Fei Du》is a long novel by Jia Pingwa, the novel tells the story of several scholars in urban decadent life and mentality, there were lots of controversy over the content and form of it, and caused the earthquake in China's literary circles after its publication. Until 2009, when 《Fei Du》reprint after banned for 16 years.
《Fei Du》has been translated into French Japanese, Russian and so on many languages, and in 1997 won the French fee mina prize, and the English version will be published in this year.
