On February 23, Russell Duncan, an American excellent professor, was invited to SFL to give an academic report --- An Era of Possibilities: The New First Generation in America.
Professor Duncan received a History PHD in Georgia University. He has been the associate professor in Georgia University and the professor in Norway University of Science and Technology and since the year of 2004, he has been a professor in Copenhagen University in Denmark. The major research focus of Prof. Duncan includes American contemporary culture and cross-culture research, especially the relationship between China and America. His main publication include Contemporary America， Transnational America: Contours of Modern US Culture， American History Since 1865. etc.
