Gao Tian returned with high praise from G20 Youth Leadership Summit

Students from Harvard University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Nanjing University, University of International Business and Economics, Shanghai International Studies University and Northwest University went to Washington to attend the G20 Youth Leadership Summit on the problems and coping strategies of environmental protection, development, finance and economy from June 1st to June 11th. Gao Tian, participated in the summit as the environmental protection minister after four screening interview, was also the only selected representatives in the western area. He took the lead in reaching a consensus in the environmental protection department with his excellent performance, defended national interests, and also received the praise of the representatives of the participating countries.

 

The G20 Youth Leadership Summit is a high-end dialogue mechanism of the future leaders of the G20 countries, aims to gather outstanding young people of the 20 countries. Referring to the work scenes of the G20 summit, the students dialogue on the most pressing issues of the world and reach a consensus eventually. The conference communiqué will be sent directly to the leaders of countries in the Group.
