On August 26 and August 29, the party committee of the School of Foreign Languages held an enlarged meeting of the contact session of the College party and academic center of learning group, which seriously studied the General Secretary Hu Jintao's important speech in the General Assembly to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and conveyed the university’s summer work conference spirit.
With his own learning experience, Party Secretary Wang Qiang conveyed the spirit of our party committee meeting of studying the July 1st speech of General Secretary Hu Jintao. He raised three demands for all the party members of the College. First, continue to strengthen the sense of learning and improving Party cultivation. Second, connect theory with practice, and enlarge realistic and pragmatic work style. Third, enhance their ability to promote the university and college’s development. Secretary Wang also requested all party branches to seriously learn the spirit of the July 1st speech, and combined with the university and college’s "12th Five-Year Plan", to make the general secretary's speech into effect, stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of our staff and young students, and to vigorously promote the development of various undertakings in our university.
