A delegation from the SFL of SXNU visited us for discussions and research

On the morning of March 14, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., a delegation of five people from the School of Foreign Languages at Shaanxi Normal University, including Secretary Dong Zengyun, Vice Secretary Lu Yan, Vice Dean Sun Jian, Deputy Dean and Director of the English Department Zhu Dongyi, and counselor Qu Wanting, visited our school for talent cultivation research and discussions. The research discussion was held in the school’s conference room, with our school’s Party Secretary Wang Jun, Dean Cao Ruonan, Vice Deans Li Mi and Su Rui, Dean’s Assistant Xu Na, and counselor Zhao Mingxing attending the meeting.

Dean Cao Ruonan first warmly welcomed the delegation from the School of Foreign Languages at Shaanxi Normal University for their research and discussions at our school. During the meeting, Secretary Dong Zengyun briefly introduced the overall situation of School of Foreign Languages of Shaanxi Normal University, including its history, disciplinary development, research achievements, faculty, and student training. Dean Cao Ruonan also briefly described the basic situation of our school, emphasizing the development strategy of “Foreign Languages +” disciplines. Secretary Wang Jun briefly introduced some effective measures related to party building work. Vice Dean Su Rui outlined the development history of the school’s disciplines. Vice Dean Li Mi focused on the reform of College English and the related situation of disciplinary competitions. Teacher Zhao Mingxing shared relevant experiences and achievements in student work. Subsequently, both parties engaged in in-depth communication and exchanges on issues such as the construction of foreign language disciplines, talent cultivation, and curriculum reform. Finally, Secretary Wang Jun and Secretary Dong Zengyun exchanged gifts, expressing deep friendship between the sister schools and looking forward to mutual communication, strengthened cooperation, and common development.
