SFL held a special lecture on the improvement of cadre style and capability

In order to thoroughly fulfill the Implementation Plan for the Improvement of Leadership Style and Ability at Northwest University and in accordance with the arrangements of the Implementation Plan for the Improvement of Leadership Style and Ability of the Party Committee of SFL, on the morning of March 30th, the Party Committee of the School invited Liang Mu, Deputy Director of  the Party Committee Office and the President’s Office of the University, to give a theme lecture. More than 20 members of the school’s leadership team, counselors and representatives of teachers and students attended the collective learning session. The lecture was chaired by Liu Jianbo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School.

 

Before the lecture, Wang Jun, the Party Secretary of the school, delivered a speech. He emphasized that document writing is an essential skill for administrative staff and is a direct reflection of the theoretical level and professional ability of cadres. He stressed that the opportunity for this lecture is precious, and all participants should attach great importance to improving their own abilities and apply the insights from the lecture to their own work.

 

During the lecture, Mr. Liang Mu delivered a presentation titled Common Thinking Frameworks and Practical Paths for Document Writing. He started by using “common ‘document accidents’ around us” as a starting point to share common mistakes in document writing with the participants. Then, Mr. Liang elaborated on the knowledge of document writing in three aspects: what documents and application documents are, types of documents and common problems, and writing methods and paths, with detailed examples to make the lecture easy to understand. Finally, Mr. Liang offered several suggestions: first, to read books, newspapers, and websites to resonate with the times; second, to pay attention to academic training in one’s field; third, to focus on one’s field but not be limited to it; fourth, to imitate and learn from others, accumulate, think, practice, and gradually improve.

 

After the lecture, Liu Jianbo, the Deputy Secretary of the school’s Party Committee, summarized the lecture. He expressed that the content of the lecture was rich, detailed, and profound, effectively helping cadres and students of the school to clarify the difference between documents and application documents, enriching the connotation and significance of document writing, and providing clear direction for improving the writing ability of cadres and students in the school.

The teachers and students who attended the lecture expressed that Mr. Liang Mu’s lecture was highly professional and effectively enhanced their understanding of document writing. It clarified the implementation path for improving document writing ability. They expressed their intention to continue studying the contents of the lecture seriously, apply what they have learned, and continuously improve their work skills.
