Dean Cao Ruonan summarized the work of the last semester from two perspectives and arranged key tasks for this semester. First, understand the timing and the situation. The school will continue to promote the transformation and development of disciplines, particularly in regional and country studies. It is essential to grasp the current historical stage, align with national strategic goals, clarify our own research direction, and intensify efforts in interdisciplinary integration. Second, move quickly individually, but go far together. In the face of new circumstances and challenges, all full-time faculty must unite closely, support each other, and foster a collaborative atmosphere to promote discipline development.
