Forging a "Foreign Language+" Talent Development Platform
At the launch ceremony of the “Heart with STG, Surging into the Future” 2025 Dream Pursuit Study Season held at the Zhouyuan Scenic Area, Zhao Zhihou introduced Northwest University and SFL’s profile, engaging in in-depth discussions with representatives from STG and the Shaanxi Research and Practice Education Association. Both parties signed the Cooperative Agreement on Teaching and Employment Internship Base and unveiled the partnership plaque. Zhao emphasized that this collaboration with STG’s Qishan branch would foster mutual benefits in industry-education-research projects, professional practice, and employment expansion, jointly exploring innovative talent cultivation models for international cultural tourism and injecting momentum into Shaanxi’s cultural development.

Joint Cultivation of Cultural Ambassadors
In the afternoon, the delegation visited Hengqu Academy. Liu Jiangtao, Executive Director of Hengqu Academy Cultural Industry Co., Ltd., warmly welcomed the group and highlighted the academy’s mission as a hub for disseminating Zhang Zai’s Guanzhong School philosophy. He expressed hopes that the partnership would drive the creative global transformation of China’s Six Arts culture. Zhao Zhihou stressed that the agreement marked a critical step in SFL’s “Enterprise Visits and Employment Expansion” campaign, designed to bridge traditional culture with foreign language education through immersive internship programs, empowering students to “step into cultural sites and tell China’s stories.”

Deepening Collaboration for Shared Educational Vision
This initiative underscores SFL’s commitment to advancing the “Enterprise Visits and Employment Expansion” strategy. Moving forward, SFL will deepen cooperation with STG and Hengqu Academy in areas such as international communication of Chinese culture and cultural-tourism integration research. Collaborative efforts will include customized internship programs, joint curriculum development, and the appointment of industry experts as practical training mentors for undergraduates, ensuring seamless alignment between education and industry needs. Both parties aim to establish a model for university-industry partnership and pioneer innovative approaches to cultivating globally minded cultural-tourism professionals.
