From November 20 to 21, 2025, a sub‑forum of the Shaanxi province Silk Road Forum of Young Scholars was held at Northwest University. Our school invited five young scholars from several renowned universities to participate.
On the afternoon of November 20, leaders of our school, representatives of teachers and students, and the young scholars attended the China‑Central Asia Exchange and Cooperation Seminar. They listened to keynote reports by well‑known scholars from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan on key topics such as regional cooperation, green development, and scientific, technological, and cultural exchanges. Li Chuchu, a young scholar from Shandong University, participated and delivered a report titled “The Image of the British Army and the Formation of Consensus in the American Revolution.” On the morning of November 21, the young scholars gathered at the School of Foreign Languages for an exchange symposium with the school’s Party and administrative leaders and representatives of young faculty. Cao Ruonan, Dean of our school, delivered a welcome speech, providing a detailed introduction to the development trends of the school’s disciplines, research pathways, faculty development, and the cultivation of young talent. She expressed the hope that this forum would serve as a platform to actively connect with outstanding young scholars and expand channels for talent exchange. During the meeting, Zhu Haoran, Ph.D. from Renmin University of China, Sun Bo, Associate Professor from Changchun College of Electronic Technology, and Li Chuchu, Ph.D. from Shandong University engaged in in‑depth exchanges with attending faculty representatives based on their respective research fields.

This forum provided a platform for intellectual exchange between young scholars and the college, and also created favorable conditions for attracting outstanding talent. It will help the college enhance quality and efficiency in disciplinary development and talent cultivation.
