In accordance with the unified deployment of the University Party Committee, the feedback meeting on the inspection of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages by the aforementioned inspection group was held in the school’s Second Classroom Lecture Hall on May 9, 2026.
Attendees included Zhao Zuoniu, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee and Deputy Head of the University Inspection Work Leading Group; Zhang Yuanjun, the Deputy Secretary of the university and Head of the Second Inspection Group; Wang Tao, Director of the University Party Committee Office and President’s Office (Office of Stability and Security) and Deputy Head of the inspection group; Ren Junrui, Director of the University Party Committee Inspection Office; all members of the Second Inspection Group; as well as members of the School of Foreign Languages’ Party and administrative leading body, all faculty and staff, and representatives of student Party members. The meeting was presided over by Cao Ruonan, Deputy Secretary of the School’s Party Committee and Dean.
At the meeting, Comrade Ren Junrui read out the Notice on Inspection Rectification. Comrade Zhang Yuanjun delivered the Inspection Feedback Opinions on behalf of the Second Inspection Group, and Comrade Zhao Zhihou made a response statement.
In his concluding speech, Comrade Zhao Zuoniu conveyed the guiding spirit of the University Party Committee on inspection rectification and put forward four explicit requirements for effective implementation. First, examine the school’s development orientation from a political standpoint. Second, focus on addressing and rectifying the problems identified in the inspection to drive the school’s in-depth reform and development. Third, urge Party organizations and Party members to uphold high standards and play a vanguard and exemplary role, motivating all faculty and staff to forge ahead with dedication and entrepreneurship. Fourth, fulfill the principal responsibility for exercising full and rigorous self-governance over the Party and foster a clean and upright political ecosystem.
He emphasized that inspection rectification is a solemn political task. The School Party Committee must earnestly shoulder its principal responsibility, formulate a meticulous rectification plan, translate rectification outcomes into a strong driving force for the school’s connotative development, and contribute to the university’s Double First-Class Initiative.
