On the afternoon of May 20, 2026, Ms. Li Huanhuan, recruitment specialist at Yaxincheng Medical Information Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to give a lecture titled “Interdisciplinary Paradigms of Medical Academic Translation and Career Development Paths for MTI Students” to 2025-cohort MTI students at the School’s Second Classroom. The lecture was hosted by Ji Weimin of SFL.

Yaxincheng has deep expertise and a mature service system in medical translation, focusing on pharmaceuticals and medical devices; written translation accounts for over 80% of its business. It has long served well-known pharmaceutical and medical device companies at home and abroad, including MSD, Bausch + Lomb, Alcon, and Philips, with stable, high-quality clients. The presentation covered the company’s strengths, business scope, service advantages, team building, recruitment positions, and talent development system, offering students a comprehensive view of the medical translation industry and career growth paths.

The lecture had three parts. First, Ms. Li introduced Yaxincheng’s comprehensive business coverage and its sustained focus on medical translation. Based in China and serving the world, the company is headquartered in Beijing, has branches in Xi’an, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and other cities, and follows Tigermed Group’s global strategy to expand overseas, supporting medical companies in pharmaceutical and device R&D and internationalization. She then showed the team’s work environment and atmosphere and interacted with students, giving them a sense of the warmth and convenience of the Yaxincheng family. Finally, the lecture announced a translation internship recruitment program, with positions in pharmaceutical translation, medical device translation, Chinese-to-English translation, and other groups, as well as specialized teams for key accounts and specialty devices, offering interns diverse practical directions. In terms of compensation and benefits, the company applies a tiered salary system, with transportation and meal allowances and overachievement bonuses to ensure internship benefits. For new employees, Yaxincheng launched the “Young Eagle Program,” providing systematic training in management systems, translation tools, professional knowledge, industry processes, and proofreading standards to help interns quickly improve job skills and adapt to work pace. The presentation also clarified the full campus recruitment process and provided clear application channels for interested students, helping outstanding talent join the team and jointly promote the development of the medical translation industry.

The lecture gave students a comprehensive understanding of the real demands and prospects of the medical translation industry and clarified career growth paths and areas for skill improvement. It not only narrowed the distance between campus learning and industry practice but also laid a solid foundation for students to pursue careers in medical translation and achieve professional development.
