First, understand the times and trends and grasp the overall situation, deeply recognize the new mission and opportunities for foreign language disciplines in the new era, and find the right position and demonstrate value in serving national strategies. Second, be courageous in taking responsibility and work in concert with the University, deepen education and teaching reform, optimize talent cultivation plans, and give full play to the School's important supporting role in improving the foreign language proficiency of students across the University. Third, deepen reform and overcome difficulties, actively explore new “foreign language +” interdisciplinary paths, and make achievements in solving development problems. Fourth, unite hearts and work together, stimulate vitality in fostering a sound ecosystem, and create a clean and upright, united and harmonious, and enterprising atmosphere.

While chairing the meeting, Chen Fulin stressed that the new administrative leadership team should solidly implement the work arrangements of the University's CPC Committee, tighten responsibilities, align with key tasks, and refine annual work measures. All faculty and staff should remain true to the original aspiration of education, anchor to high-quality development, and contribute foreign language strength to the University's overall reform and development.
