Principles and Methods of Transdisciplinary Research

He Aijun is a distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor at Ocean University of China, where he serves as the director of the English Department. He also holds positions as an expert in the Ministry of Education’s degree and graduate education evaluation, as well as in the evaluation and appraisal of National Social Science Fund projects and post-funding projects. From 2003 to 2019, Professor He held various positions at Ningbo University, including professor, department head, and associate dean of the School of Foreign Languages. He has been honored with titles such as “Zhejiang Province Young Academic Leader”, “Ningbo City Leading and Outstanding Talent”, and “Expert Responsible for Evaluation of National Social Science Fund Projects”.

Professor He Aijun has been engaged in interdisciplinary translation research for many years and has received awards such as the Excellent Prize in the Han Suyin International Translation Contest and five provincial and municipal awards for outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences. He has published over 50 academic papers in journals like Babel, Journal of Foreign Languages, Chinese Translators Journal, and Foreign Literature Studies. He has also authored or translated more than 10 academic monographs and participated in the compilation of major reference works such as the A Dictionary of Translation Studies in China and Translators Through Chinese History. He has led or completed five national and provincial-level social science fund projects and is currently leading a key project funded by the National Social Science Fund titled “Theoretical Construction and Practical Research of Translation Geography”
