The preliminary round of the 2023 National English Competition for College Students was held simultaneously at our Chang’an and Taibai campuses on May 7th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. After the competition, in strict accordance with the requirements and grading standards set by the National Contest Organizing Committee, a team of professional teachers was organized to conduct centralized, closed, and systematic scoring. After several days of intense and orderly work, the preliminary round results and the list of award-winning students have been compiled and verified.
According to the relevant reward regulations of the National Contest Organizing Committee, a total of 142 students from our university were awarded in the preliminary round. Among them, 10 students advanced to the finals, 49 students won the National Second Prize, and 83 students won the National Third Prize. The list of award-winning students is hereby announced, detailed in the attached document.
The competition award certificates will be uniformly issued by the National Contest Organizing Committee, and the specific distribution time will be subject to notification from the organizing committee. Subsequent relevant matters will be notified and communicated through the following QQ group.
