The Origins, Current Situation, and Impact of the Israel-Palestine Conflict

Speaker: Researcher Li Shaoxian

Li Shaoxian is the Dean of the China-Arab Countries Research Institute at Ningxia University. He previously held the position of Deputy Dean and researcher at the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, where he also served as a doctoral advisor. He is a distinguished professor at the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC (National Academy of Governance) and vice president of the China Middle East Studies Association. Additionally, he is a member of the Ministry of Education’s Expert Committee on International and Regional Studies and chairs the Advisory Committee for the China-Arab Expo. Furthermore, he acts as an international affairs consultant and special commentator for China Central Television (CCTV). He is a recipient of the National May 1 Labor Medal and benefits from special government allowances from the State Council.
