The 1st Book Sharing Event of SFL

In celebration of UNESCO’s 29th World Book Day (April 23), and to enrich the cultural life of faculty and staff at the School of Foreign Languages, we are excited to announce the upcoming book sharing event. This event aims to leverage the linguistic expertise across different departments and implement the “One College, One Feature” initiative under the theme on “Each Beautiful in Its Own Way, Beautiful Together.” The event, titled A Reading Journey Across Languages, will be held on April 24, 2024.

It is organized by the School of Foreign Languages Subcommittee, with the Women’s Department of the Subcommittee as the host. faculty and staff members are invited to voluntarily sign up via a WeChat registration chain. Participants will receive a commemorative gift. The activity aims to foster camaraderie among faculty, raise awareness of sharing and collaboration, and showcase the positive spirit of our teachers.

During the event, two faculty members will share their reading journeys and insights, followed by interactive discussions and reflections on the books.
