Professor Nahed Abdulla Ebrahim currently serves as a professor in the Department of Chinese at the Faculty of Languages, Ain Shams University, Egypt. She has previously held leadership roles including Director of the Department of Chinese at Faros University’s Faculty of Languages and Translation, Director of the Department of Chinese at Alexandria University’s Faculty of Arts, and Director of the Department of Chinese at Port Said University’s Faculty of Arts. She has also taught at Al-Azhar University and served as Director of the Alumni Affairs Unit at Ain Shams University’s Faculty of Languages. Additionally, she holds visiting professorships at Wuhan Minzu University of China, Beijing Normal University, and Shanghai International Studies University. As a distinguished Arab translator and Sinologist, she is the founder of the Arab Association of Translators and Sinologists, a jury member for the Zheng He Translation Award, and an expert at the National Committee for Terminology in Science and Technology. Her academic achievements include over thirty research papers in fields such as modern Chinese literature, women's literature, drama, and neo-realism. Her notable works include translations and studies of Lao She’s Longxu Ditch and Mao Dun’s Disillusionment.
