Professor Julius Omondi Nyabundi, currently President of Maseno University (one of Kenya’s six renowned public universities), holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of California, Davis. As an esteemed scholar in agricultural science and ecology, he serves as the Executive Chairman of the Kenya National Examinations Council. Previously, he held roles including Dean of Mulanga University College, General Manager of Chemelil Sugar Company, Dean of the School of Natural Sciences at Maseno University, Director of Student Affairs, and Head of the Horticulture Department. With extensive expertise in higher education management and industrial practice, he has spearheaded Maseno University’s global knowledge exchange initiatives and facilitated its transformation from traditional teaching toward community service and regional impact enhancement.
