Professor Kenneth King, an internationally influential and highly cited scholar in international and comparative education, vocational education, and African studies, with over 8,000 Google Scholar citations. Currently Chair Professor of Comparative and International Education at the University of Edinburgh, UK. Former positions he once hold include Director of the Centre of African Studies (University of Edinburgh), President of the British Association for International and Comparative Education (BAICE), President of The United Kingdom Forum for International Education and Training (UKFIET), Vice President of the Royal African Society (UK), Chair of the Royal Scottish Society for African Studies, and Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the University of Hong Kong. His major works include: Globalization, Enterprise and Knowledge : Education, Training and Development in Africa (2022) and China's Aid and Soft Power in Africa: The Case of Education and Training (2013).
