Professor Mark Bray, UNESCO Chair Professor of Comparative Education at the Centre for Comparative Education Research, the University of Hong Kong. Former Director of UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), Dean of the Faculty of Education (University of Hong Kong), President of the World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES), President of the Comparative and International Education Society (USA), and President of the Comparative Education Society of Hong Kong. With long-term focus on education policies and practices in Asia and Africa, he is a highly cited scholar in comparative education with over 22,000 Google Scholar citations. His notable publications include Comparative Education Research: Approaches and Methods (2014) and Directions in Educational Planning: International Experiences and Perspectives (2011).
