Liang Maoxin is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of History and Culture, Northeast Normal University. He serves as the Director of the American Studies Institute, holds the title of Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education. He is also recognized as an Outstanding Innovative Talent of the New Century by the Ministry of Education and is a high-level talent in Jilin Province. He receives the State Council Special Allowance, and concurrently holds the position of Chairman of the Chinese Association of American History. Professor Liang also serves as an editorial board member for six academic journals, including World History and American Studies. He has published nearly 80 papers in journals such as The Journal of American History and Historical Research, and has won the Second Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Chinese Universities twice (7th and 8th editions) in the monograph category. Additionally, 15 of his works have received first, second, and third prizes for Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences at the provincial and municipal levels in Jilin Province and Changchun City. As a participant, he has contributed to six teaching reform projects. These projects have received first, second, and third prizes at the national, provincial (Jilin), and municipal (Changchun) levels in teaching and research.
